Lounge is a space with AI characters that you can chat and role-play with. You pick a character from the feed, open their profile and start a conversation. The character replies in text (the replies can also be voiced), keeps the conversation going and plays along with the story you build together. Characters also come with their own role-play storylines, and you can create your own character too. The experience supports adult (18+) role-play as well.
Please note that Lounge is an interactive chat and role-play experience rather than a one-shot story generator, but we think it may be close to what you have in mind. We hope you will enjoy it when it launches!

Hi! Lounge has now been released, so you can try it. Yes, you can create your own character. The creator is a step-by-step wizard where you pick the options for your character: for example their age, the world they come from, their personality, their face (hair, skin tone, eyes, and features such as freckles) and their body. Once you choose the face, you can generate variants and pick the one you like. Generating more face variants costs 2 credits per batch.
In a chat with a character, a photo costs 5 credits and a short video costs 25 credits. The characters you create stay private. Enjoy!

Thank you for your question. At the moment, it isn’t possible to create a character from your own images, as characters in the Lounge are always created from scratch.
You can build your own character in My Characters by choosing the age, style, look and personality, and then picking a face from a few generated options.

What you describe is already part of the character creator. You build your character step by step by choosing options: their age, the world they come from, their personality, the face (hair color, length and type, skin tone, eye color, and features like freckles or tattoos) and the body. Then you generate face variants and pick the one you like.
