Thank you for your suggestion about sending your own images to a character in the Lounge chat. We understand why this would be appealing.
At the moment, however, sharing images with characters is not something we are able to offer. Characters in the Lounge are not able to receive or view uploaded files, and this is how the experience is designed to work.
There are other ways to make your chats more engaging. You can ask your character in words to send you a photo, and if you would like a character that matches your own vision, you can create one in My Characters by choosing the age, style, look and personality.
